Relaunch: An AI-Powered Multilingual SRHR Companion for Women and Girls

First launched at ICASA 2023 in Harare, Rudo, meaning “love” in Shona, is an AI-powered, confidential SRHR companion that creates a safe, judgment-free space for women and girls to access accurate information on sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, and the FC2 Female Condom. During its debut, Rudo engaged delegates from 21 African countries, answering hundreds of sensitive questions that many would not have felt comfortable asking publicly.

At AIDS 2026, Amor returns as a multilingual, AI-driven platform supporting conversations in English, Portuguese, French, Kiswahili, and other regional languages. More than a chatbot, the networking zone will be an interactive learning hub where delegates can explore trusted SRHR information, engage with AI in their preferred language, and connect with an FC2 Female Condom Master Trainer for practical demonstrations and expert guidance. By combining compassionate technology with human expertise, Amor 2.0 aims to empower women and girls, foster inclusive dialogue, and generate community insights that strengthen future HIV and SRHR programmes worldwide.

Introducing the HIV CURE-iculum: Launching the First Global Community of Practice on Cure Research Literacy

Join the launch of the world’s first Global HIV Cure Research Literacy Community of Practice (CoP), a collaborative learning network that empowers civil society advocates, community leaders, health workers, and researchers to better understand HIV cure science and engage meaningfully in ethical research. Originally developed in Africa through the African Alliance and the Africa Cure Consortium, the CoP is now expanding into a truly global platform for shared learning and collaboration.

This interactive booth will introduce delegates to the CoP model, the Five ‘C’ Competency Framework, and key lessons from the 2025 Sprint. Visitors can register on-site to become members of the global network, gaining access to ongoing learning resources, monthly virtual sessions, and opportunities to collaborate with HIV cure advocates worldwide. The space will also feature digital exhibits, printed resource materials, and live mini-sessions led by the African Alliance team, creating an engaging environment to build knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and advance inclusive, community-led HIV cure research.
