Background
The African Alliance (AA) and the Africa HIV Cure Consortium (AHCC) convened a Training of Trainers (ToT) in Kigali, Rwanda, in March 2026. This initiative successfully trained a verified cohort of six National Trainers from Botswana, Cameroon, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, and Zambia. These trainers achieved implementation readiness through rigorous teach-back assessments, curriculum delivery simulations, and national cascade planning. They are now leading country-level cascade implementations to train participants locally within their own communities between April and August 2026.

Our National Trainers successfully completed their intensive training in Kigali, guided by the expert facilitation of Master Trainers Barrack and Khadija. With this foundational support and mentorship, our National Trainers are now leading cascade implementations and empowering advocates across six African nations.
