The session will be an interactive prerecorded session hosted by a community health advocate and an inner condom expert trainer.

This session will focus on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), exploring how sexual pleasure drives demand creation for the inner condom. Drawing on African Indigenous languages and concepts, the session challenges conventional approaches to contraceptive promotion by centring pleasure as a legitimate and powerful motivator for condom use.

The session will equip participants with culturally grounded messaging strategies and tools to promote female condoms in African contexts. Instead of the usual clinical messaging around contraception, we will explore how centring joy, desire, and pleasure, using African Indigenous languages and everyday concepts, can change the conversation around the inner condom in African communities.

The session will include discussion and practical tools for health workers, advocates, and communicators who want to promote the female condom in ways that feel real and relevant to the people they work with.
