What We Found

Advocacy can accelerate system change

 

Although implementation was limited, strategic engagement influenced national planning processes and strengthened policy dialogue around FC2.

National planning improved

 

The project contributed to demand forecasting, distribution planning and development of a costed advocacy strategy.

Stakeholder engagement strengthened coordination

 

Government, technical partners and civil society demonstrated increased collaboration around procurement and distribution planning..

Momentum now requires implementation

 

The country has developed stronger planning tools but requires investment to translate strategy into sustained access.

Summary

 

The DRC phase demonstrated that targeted advocacy can rapidly influence national planning and coordination. The next priority is implementation, procurement and expansion of community access.
