Dale Mukwena 

Researcher (Consultant)

Dale Mukwena is a researcher and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) specialist with over 15 years of experience generating policy-relevant evidence across HIV, gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health, nutrition, and community development programmes in South Africa and Zimbabwe.

 

His work focuses on translating complex research and programme data into actionable insights for advocacy, policy engagement, and programme decision-making. Dale is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology (Evaluation and Applied Research) at Claremont Graduate University.

 

He has supported national and regional initiatives funded by USAID, PEPFAR, UNFPA, the Global Fund, and government partners. Dale has held senior MEL and research roles at the Wits Reproductive Health and HIV Institute, NACOSA, and HIV South Africa, and currently works as a research consultant at the African Alliance.
